“Make ‘em laugh!” That’s always been my motto. It’s no coincidence that it also happens to be the motto of the following artists who’ve packed their videos with the funniest comedians around. From Eminem featuring Triumph The Insult Comic Dog in his clip for “Ass Like That” to Bobby McFerrin tapping the comedic talents of Robin Williams in “Don’t Worry, Be Happy,” I love a video that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

To celebrate all the funny peeps out there, here’s a collection of our Top 5 Coolest Videos With Comedian Cameos. Plus, if you’re hungry for additional side-splitting appearances, check out more HIGH-larious videos here.

1. “Music” by Madonna
Not only can we credit Madonna for introducing Kabbalah, pilates and vogueing to the music-loving masses, but we can also thank her for presenting the unprecedented brilliance of Ali G in the clip for her song “Music.” Booyakasha!

2. “Rise Up With Fists” by Jenny Lewis And The Watson Twins
I don’t know what’s funnier about this clip: Jenny Lewis’ bedazzled floor-length gown and Dolly Parton bouffant—or Sarah Silverman’s Mr. Ed-esque laugh at the beginning of the video. Cue the theme to Hee Haw.

3. “One More Drink” by Ludacris
Usually, there’s nothing funny about alcoholism—unless you happen to be the mom from Intervention who passes out on her front yard after downing too much mouthwash). But, truth be told, if comedian Kat Williams showed up at my AA meeting, I think it’d be hard to keep a straight face, as seen in this Ludacris clip.

4. “Touch My Body” by Mariah Carey
Oh, Kenneth The Page. It doesn’t get much funnier than watching you try to have a pillow fight with Madame Butterfly while wearing a Viking hat and a bow tie. Plus, has anyone ever noticed that homeboy has zero chin? It’s like he’s all face and neck. Again, hilarious! (Although completely involuntary.)

5. “All Star” by Smash Mouth
Mystery Men was such an underrated movie. Regardless of whether you’re musically allergic to the ska-pop stylings of Smash Mouth, I strongly urge you to revisit for nothing more than to acknowledge the highlight of Dane Cook’s career — his two-second appearance as “The Waffler.” As we all know, it was all downhill from there.

WTF: Kelis Goes Full Na’Vi

Like many people, R&B star and ex-wifey to rapper Nas, Kelis likes to post pictures of herself to Facebook. Because when you get down to it, Facebook is there to see who from high school got fat and to post flattering pictures of yourself.

Unlike most people, Kelis’ latest foray into sharing herself with others involves the above shot, taken by acclaimed photographer Rankin, from the set of her video for “Acapella.” She looks like a combination of a Na’vi warrior and Tina Turner from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

We kind of warned you something like this was on the horizon. A few weeks back we noticed that Kelis had clearly caught a bit of Lady Gaga fever in her quest to be “out there” with her threads. She’s been rocking the fake gray hair and nose ring/earring/necklace combo for a while. The Pandora-friendly blue lighting and chain-mail blouse are nice new touches, though.

Officially cannot wait for the “Acapella” video. It’s due to be the first clip from her album, Fleshtones, due out in May. Never change, Kelis.

With a barrage of preincarceration records from Lil’ Wayne (Rebirth, We Are Young Money), the arrival of Drake’s first single, “Over,” and news that Kanye West was working on his new album, Good Ass Job, in Hawaii, it’s been a good time to be a hip-hop fan. But something’s been missing.

We’re thinking you’ll agree that within the first few seconds of his postincarceration single, “I’m Back,” “something” was T.I. After being released from prison earlier this month (he’s fulfilling the rest of his sentence under home confinement), T.I. went right back to work. The result is this bouncing, bass-heavy blast of boasts — a statement of intent that this man is BACK.

If you couldn’t hear the passion in his voice, T.I. made his intentions plain, recently telling MTV News, “As long as there is air in my esophagus, champ, I’mma keep going.” Long live T.I. May his esophagus be full of air for a long, long time.

Watch out, Zac Efron, because there’s a new guy in town and he might just invade your high-school heartthrob territory.

In the new She And Him video for the song “In The Sun,” off the duo’s upcoming album Volume Two, singer Zooey Deschanel literally dances circles around her cooler-than-cool musical counterpart M. Ward, while he struts and skulks through the halls like a modern-day James Dean. Swoon!

Truth be told, I’m not a huge fan of Ward’s soul patch, but when he breaks into a guitar solo amid a sea of hula hoops, it’s like nothing else matters.

Ludacris Picks His 10 Favorite Female MCs

With an album title like Battle Of The Sexes, you’d probably expect Ludacris‘ collection of new tracks to be about confrontations between men and women. There’s definitely some of that, but it’s also a great platform for female rappers. On most of Sexes’ tracks, a lady MC or singer squares off with Luda, including the likes of Trina, Nicki Minaj, Eve, Diamond, Monica and Shawnna.

With that in mind, we were curious about Ludacris’ 10 favorite female MCs. Check out the list and videos from his favorite ladies of rhyme and tell us if you agree.

+ The premiere of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video, featuring Beyonce, is only a couple of days away (Thursday, March 11). As an appetizer, Gaga has released some snaps from the clip on her site, including the above shot of our favorite Lady expressing her patriotism in a way that would surely make President Obama proud. + Lily Allen is still not quite retired, though she might be thinking about expediting the process after a fight broke out at her show at London’s O2 Arena last night. Song You Need To Know: Selena Gomez, ‘Trust In Me’

All’s been quiet on the Selena Gomez front recently. Yes, not too long ago, she played at Pop-Con with Justin Bieber, got her bestie Taylor Swift’s back and possibly went on a date with Nick Jonas; but, musically, it’s been nothing but crickets.

That is, until now. Here we have Selena’s contribution to Disneymania 7, spotted via Idolator. The compilation features current Disney favorites covering studio classics, and, for her contribution Gomez tackled “Trust In Me,” a famous selection from The Jungle Book soundtrack.

It’s been a hot minute since I watched The Jungle Book, but I do know that “Trust In Me” is sung by a snake. I also know you shouldn’t really trust snakes. And, frankly, given the smoky, alluring way Gomez delivers this song — over an almost Portishead, trip-hop-esque backing track — it makes me think the seductive undertones aren’t an accident. Don’t tell Mickey, OK?
